Printing Error Instructions

  • Check if your internet is working:
  • The internet connection icon is located at the top right of the application.

  • If QUEUE doesn't show any message:

  • - Check to make sure the power and the ethernet cable are properly connected to the printer and the router.
  • - Do a test print, if you can’t print, please change the ethernet cable and try to perform a test print again.
  • Select “Printing” in the side navigation bar, and scroll to the bottom to perform a test print

  • If Queue shows the message “Unable to connect to printer”:

  • - Please check to make sure the power and the ethernet cable are properly connected to the printer and the router.
  • - Perform a Test Print.
  • - Check if you gave Queue the correct Local Network Permissions.

  • For devices below iOS 14v:

  • - Click Settings on your iPad
  • - Click QUEUE
  • - Enable Location and Local Network.

  • For devices above iOS 14v:

  • - Click Settings on your iPad
  • - Click Privacy
  • - Click Local Network
  • - Enable Queue

  • After that, perform a test print in Queue.

  • If errors have not been resolved, please select from these printers for more instructions.

EPSON T82II/III

  • How to perform a Self Test:
  • - Turn the printer OFF
  • - Press the feed button and continue to hold while turning the printer back ON again.
  • - Keep holding the feed button until a paper prints from the device.

  • A test page will be printed, which will display the printer status along with the IP address. Please identify the IP address designated to the specific printer, and confirm that it is identical to the one you set up in Queue.

  • If your self test IP address is set to None, there are two reasons why:
  • - Your printer is not connected, please check the power and the ethernet cable are properly connected. Change the ethernet cable and try again.
  • - Your Printer Type is ™ Mode.

  • If your printer is set up on ™ Mode, in Queue app:
  • Go to Settings -> Printing -> Printers. Select printer and click SEARCH.
  • The system will show all of the printers available, please click the printer you want to connect with.
  • Perform a test print and press SAVE.

  • Tip:
  • In order to avoid connectivity issues, please forget other wifi credentials that are different from the one your printer is connected to.
  • This means you should only save the credentials and enable Auto-Join for QUEUE WIFI POS. For example, you should never enable Auto-Join or save the WIFI password from a different WIFI connection, otherwise you might experience printer connectivity issues.
